I had previously made a tile map maker, but it had very limited features. Nevertheless, the training map from Front Mission 3 could be created. Since then, I have learnt much about textures and decided to create a map maker that could include textured map tile.

What does this demonstrate?

I can create my own complex data structure (class with composition) to store and render a tile based map. I also can create save/load functions that write/read the data of the map to/from a given file.

I can correctly and effectively use Windows standard dialogs. (I learnt how to do this with no help other than the Microsoft Development Network Library, which is actually pretty extensive)
